Overview: This new construction project consisted of a new energy efficient middle school located in Santa Fe, New Mexico with a commitment to sustainability.
Installation: The 20-year warranted TPO roofing system is comprised of a metal deck, 2 layers of 3.3 inch polyisocyanurate insulation (R-38), a mechanically attached ½” cementitious cover board and an adhered 80 mil. white TPO membrane and 60 mil. TPO base flashings. Perimeter metal included parapet metal coping, fascia, counter flashing and TPO-clad through-wall drainage scuppers all fabricated in DKG’s modern sheet metal shop. The standing seam metal roofing (SSMR) also has R-38 poly-iso insulation and a coverboard with a self-adhering underlayment under the 24 ga. galvalume panels. DKG roll-formed the SSMR panels on site, curving several canopy panels as specified. Soffits were also roll-formed and installed by DKG.
Prefabricated architectural wall panels were delivered to the jobsite and installed by DKG at specified wall and screen wall locations. DKG fabricated all wall panel and SSMR trim in-house.
